The ocean is the largest carbon reservoir on the earth, and it plays an essential role in carbon sequestration. Predicting and managing the carbon cycle requires a scientific understanding of marine resource management processes that control carbon uptake and storage. Many countries are actively developing marine resources, which has become a worldwide research hot topic. Meanwhile, marine resource management in the context of carbon neutrality has also attracted a lot of attention. Many relevant research methods are involved in the field of marine resource management for carbon neutrality, such as empirical analysis, evolutionary game, mathematical programming, policy analysis, qualitative study, case study, and so on. The Special Issue aims to collect relevant research and review articles in the field of marine resource management in the context of carbon neutrality.
Recommended topics include, but are not limited to:
- Carbon emission of marine industry
- Marine supply chain for carbon neutrality
- Marine carbon sink resource and emission flux
- Coastal multi-hazard prevention with carbon neutrality
- Spatial Planning Of Coastal Zone for carbon neutrality
- Carbon neutrality in sustainable development of islands
- Carbon neutrality in Shipping
