Our Officers

    The Bureau of the Sub-Commission consists of leadership roles designated to ensure effective governance and functioning of the Sub-Commission and provides strategic leadership and ensures that the Sub-Commission functions efficiently.

    It facilitates coordination among members, ensures smooth operations, and supports the Sub-Commission in fulfilling its mandate as part of the broader framework of the Commission.

    Composition of the Bureau:

    • The Bureau is made up of the Chair and three Vice-Chairs, forming the executive leadership of the Sub-Commission.
    • These positions are filled through elections conducted within the Sub-Commission. The members of the Sub-Commission cast votes to select individuals for these roles.

    Governance Framework:

    • The operations of the Bureau adhere to the Guidelines for the Structure and Responsibilities of the Subsidiary Bodies of the Commission.
      • These guidelines outline the procedures, terms of reference, and expectations for the Bureau members.
      • They ensure consistency in leadership roles, define the scope of authority, and establish mechanisms for accountability.
