The WIOSAP project is supporting various interventions in beneficiary countries within the Convention area all focused towards ‘reducing impacts from land-based sources and activities by sustainably managing critical coastal and marine ecosystems through the implementation of the agreed WIO-SAP priorities with the support of partnerships at national and regional levels’. The beneficiary countries participating in the project are: Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania, Somalia and South Africa.

The Nairobi Convention as the Executing Agency of this UNEP implemented project is seeking for the services of a Monitoring and Evaluation expert to undertake Mid-Term Review of the GEF funded WIOSAP Project.
