[The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) invites applications for the 2018 Prince Bernhard Scholarship. Under the patronage of the late Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, the WWF Prince Bernhard Scholarship for Conservation was created in 1991 to build conservation expertise and leadership in developing and emerging economies. This prestigious scholarship is facilitated through financial support awarded to mid-career conservation professionals who are pursuing short-term training programmes or formal studies that are linked to, and ultimately contribute to, effective conservation in their country and region. We want to receive applications from environmentally-active professionals who are seeking to build skills that will enhance their contribution to conservation. In particular, women and people working for non-governmental or community-based organisations are encouraged to apply. Applications from candidates doing multiple-year studies will only be considered if the applicant is requesting support for the last year of their studies. Click here to download the application form and guidelines. Your application will be processed through the WWF South Africa office and should be submitted by 16h00 on Saturday, 13 January 2018 to: Lameez Bayat at lbayat at wwf.org.za Telephone queries: (021) 657 6633]<http://www.panda.org/scholarships>
