The second OceanTeacher Global Academy Project (OTGA-2) commenced on 1 April 2020. OTGA-2 will build on the achievements of OTGA 1 and include new initiatives and challenges now in place, for example, the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs and the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
This year, the OTGA2 project designated 3 Regional Training Centers (Kenya, Mozambique and Ghana) through evaluation of proposals.
