The workshop will mainly focus on data from the Ocean and Land Colour Imager (OLCI) and the Sea and Land Surface Temperature Radiometer (SLSTR) both flown on the Sentinel 3 Satellite. Full details are given in the documents attached.

The online phase is scheduled 23 October - 27 October 2017

The classroom phase in Accra, Ghana, will take place 06 - 10 November 2017

The workshop is dedicated to (early carrier) scientists in Africa: Master / PhD students, Post-Docs, and experienced scientists with an interest in working with satellite based ocean observation data. Participants should have some working experience in SNAP and/or a scripting language such as R (or similar).

The deadline for application is 4 August 2017, which must be made using the online form at http://training.eumetsat.int/course/view.php?id=158 [enrolment instructions are in the attached information sheet].
