We would like to announce the upcoming training course on<br>
"mapping technologies in coral reef environments" organised by the<br>
Submarine Geomorphology Working Group (IAG) in Maldives, at the MaRHE<br>
Center (Magoodhoo island, Faafu atoll, Maldives), from 10th to 19th March<br>
2019.<br>
<br>
The course will entail an overview of the most advanced techniques used to<br>
collect elevation data in coral reef environments, spanning from<br>
traditional acoustic mapping (multibeam echosounder bathymetry and<br>
backscatter, shallow seismic reflection profiling) and seafloor imaging and<br>
sampling techniques (ROV and grab sampling) to UAV and topographic surveys.<br>
