Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO and partners of the PADDLE Project (Consortium led by the French National Institute For Sustainable Development) will be organizing a workshop on Community Knowledge and Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) for the Portuguese speaking
community of Africa scheduled to take place in Mindelo, Cape Verde from 5-7 February 2018.</font></span></p>

(MSP) history and first implementation. Scientific community in Cape Verde and in Africa has had little access to MSP practices and this workshop will be an occasion to share experiences on this matter. The place and role of local community will be underlined.
